Terms of Service

Last updated July 19, 2026

This is a plain-language summary of our terms, not legal advice. If you need legal certainty for your own use case, please consult a qualified lawyer. By using Perenmail you agree to these terms.

1. Acceptance of these terms

By creating an account or using Perenmail (“the Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these terms on its behalf. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. What Perenmail is

Perenmail is a persistent inbound-email and aliasing service for developers. It lets you create private, registered-only inbound email addresses that persist by default — until you deliberately archive or delete them — so you can receive and inspect the email your own applications send during development and testing. The Service receives mail; it is not a service for sending mail, and it is not an anonymous or throwaway inbox for signing up to third-party sites.

3. Accounts and eligibility

You need a registered account to use Perenmail. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date. You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction, and at least 16 years old, to use the Service. One person or organization is responsible for each account.

4. Acceptable use

Perenmail exists so you can test the email flows of products you own or are authorized to test. You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose.
  • Attempt to receive mail intended for accounts, people, or domains you do not own or control.
  • Harass, impersonate, defraud, or harm others, or intercept another party’s communications.
  • Send spam, or use the Service to facilitate unsolicited, bulk, or abusive messaging.
  • Attempt to breach, probe, overload, or circumvent the security or rate limits of the Service or its infrastructure.
  • Store or process content you are not legally permitted to handle.

We may suspend or remove content or accounts that violate this section.

5. Subscriptions and billing

Perenmail offers a free plan and a paid Personal+ plan billed monthly. Personal+ is sold and invoiced by Paddle.com Market Ltd, our authorized reseller and merchant of record. Paddle handles payment, billing, and card data — we never store your full card details — and Paddle’s name appears on your card statement.

Your paid plan renews automatically each month until you cancel. You can cancel anytime from your account billing settings, which open the Paddle-hosted customer portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and you keep access until then, with the free Personal plan always there to fall back on.

Personal+ is month-to-month with no lock-in, so we do not run a separate refund process for partial periods — just cancel and you won’t be billed again. If you were charged in error or believe you are entitled to a refund, email support@perenmail.com within 14 days and we will review it. Paddle, as merchant of record, also handles buyer refund requests under its own terms. Your statutory refund and withdrawal rights are unaffected. If we change pricing, we will give you reasonable notice before it affects you.

6. Intellectual property

Perenmail, including its software, design, and branding, belongs to us. These terms do not grant you any rights in our intellectual property beyond using the Service as intended. The email content delivered to your inboxes remains yours (or its original sender’s); we make no claim of ownership over it.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that every message will be received, that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that it will meet your specific requirements. Perenmail is a testing tool and is not intended to be a system of record.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Perenmail and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or USD 100.

9. Termination

You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms or use the Service in a way that risks harm to others or to the Service. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; sections that by their nature should survive (such as intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will continue to apply.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the Service evolves. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
